FAMILYID REGISTRATION FOR ATHLETICS
FALL REGISTRATION IS OPEN
Welcome to our 2022/23 Sports seasons.
Terra Linda High School has instituted a platform for athletic registration through FAMILYID.(www.familyid.com)
FamilyID is a secure registration platform that provides you with an easy, user-friendly way to register for our programs, and helps us to be more administratively efficient and environmentally responsible. When you register through FamilyID, the system keeps track of your information in your FamilyID profile. You enter your information only once for each family member for multiple uses and multiple programs.
ATHLETES WHO HAVE PREVIOUSLY REGISTERED
Athletes who participated in a sport last year and have registered for FamilyID should do the following:
- Log into your account
- Click on Fall/ Winter Sports
- Click on the Fall/ Winter sport your student athlete wishes to participate
- Click on participant's name and all fields will populate with your information you already provided
- Scroll down the page until you find the agreements; click on all the agreements – Both Athlete and Parent/Guardian
- Edit any of your personal information if needed
- Press save
ATHLETES WHO HAVE NOT YET REGISTERED FOR FAMILYID
A parent/guardian should register by going to the TL website and then to the Athletics page and click on the FamilyID link to get started.

Once on FamilyID site follow these steps:
- To find your program, click on the link provided by the Organization and select the registration form under the word Programs.
- Next, click on the green Register Now button and scroll, if necessary, to the Create, Account Log In. If this is your first time using FamilyID, click Create Account.
- Create your secure FamilyID account by entering the account owner First and Last names(parent/guardian), E-Mail and password. Select I Agree to the FamilyID Terms of Service. Click Create Account.
- You will receive an email with a link to activate your new account. If you don’t see the email, check your E-mail filters(spam, junk, etc…)
- Click on the link in your activation E-Mail, which will log you into FamilyID.com.
- Once in the registration form, complete the information requested. All fields with a red* are required to have an answer.
- Click the Continue button when your form is complete
- Review your registration summary.
- No Payment Required
- Click the green Submit button. After selecting Submit, the registration will be complete. You will receive a completion email from FamilyID confirming your registration.
Once you are in the portal, under Links on the right hand side, click on the Pre-Participation Physical Form and print. This is the only piece of paper you will need. This is the form your doctor should sign and stamp and then you can upload the form to your account. You can also find the Pre-Participation Physical Form by going to the Forms and Information tab above on the top left of the page.
If you have trouble uploading the physical form, the form may be brought in to the Athletic Office.
You may login at www.familyid.com anytime to update your information and to check your registration(s).
To view a completed registration, select the Registration tab on the blue bar.

All students transferring to Terra Linda from another High School MUST speak with our Athletic Director after meeting with our School Registrar and enrolling for classes. CIF/NCS must approve ALL transfer students for athletic eligibility. CIF/NCS forms may be required, subject to the conditions of the student transfer. Please see CIF bylaws 206, 207 and 510 for student transfer details (www.cifncs.org)

ACADEMIC ELIGIBILITY
All student athletes must maintain a minimum of a 2.0 GPA and must be currently passing a minimum of four classes in accordance with SRCHSD, MCAL and NCS policies.
Athletes can not have more than one current F grade in any class.
If you are below a 2.0 GPA and want to participate in a sport, please see the AD to determine if you qualify for a one-time waiver
Students are not eligible for a waiver if they have below a 2.0 GPA in consecutive grading periods.
Waiver is not available to 9th grade athletes.
ATTENDANCE ELIGIBILITY
You must attend school a minimum of four (4) regular periods or two (2) block periods prior to being allowed to practice/play on any given day.
MCAL & NCS rules require athletes to have current physicals on file.
Please print out and have your pediatrician fill out a current physical form.

There will be no order forms this season. We are using a more efficient process of online preordering. ORDER DEADLINE is by noon on your athlete's photo day!
By taking this free, online course and using what you learn, you will be well positioned to improve the culture of concussion. Your actions can help create a safe environment for young athletes so that they can stay healthy, active, and thrive - both on and off the playing field.
Once you complete the training and quiz, you can print out a certificate, making it easy to show your league or school you are ready for the season.
The Fall 2022 season begins August 8, 2022. Sports included are Cheer, Cross Country, Football, Volleyball ( Woman's), Water Polo, Golf (Women's), and Tennis (Women's)
The Winter 2022/23 season begins October 31, 2022. Sports included are Soccer, Basketball, Cheer and Wrestling
The Spring 2023 season begins February 6, 2023. Sports included are Swimming, Tennis (Men's), Baseball, Golf (Men's), Lacrosse, Softball and Track & Field
